Buying a new home is the most expensive thing that most people will ever do in their lives, so it needs to be right. Having spent most of my working life building new homes I know the many things that can be over looked.

There are plenty of companies that offer pre occupation inspection services for purchasers of new homes, but many are to be honest a bit over zealous and can create bad feeling between a new home owner and the people who have built the home. Of course a new home needs to be right but a balance needs to be met so that a good helpful relationship exists between a home owner and the home builder.
